Real Talk.
Please share this with your family and friends ey. It's long but worth it.
To every young one that just started grade 12 or 10 today. People are failing and the numbers only seem to be increasing year by year. Don't start a new year with new uniform and worry about how shiny your shoes look or how short your skirt looks or how nice your blazer looks. These are material things bought by your elders with money most likely hard earned you see.
You go to school and instead of giving your all to your books you give your all to your friends, to your cliques and to the social evils that hold many people down. Some of you know you have great potential yet you ruin yourself with indulging into things that are not relevant; you fool around in class, you ignore doing homework you dodge classes, you become reluctant to take opportunities such as Higher level because of other peoples negative opinions yet these people are not you.
You fail to priorities and plan, you fail to set yourself a vision which is the same as planning to fail. The streets will embrace you nice, nice. You will become the talk of your hood, the shame in your family the laughing stock of your peers.
I don't know you personally but if you have reached this stage I know you care for who you want to be some day. Give your final year a little time ey, tell yourself you will become someone and work towards the achievements of those goals.
Let other people's experience be what teaches you, do not always have to fail in order to pass. Yes! it is possible but you have a chance now and if you are blessed with opportunity, use it and go forward
Use your family, your aspirations, your dreams, your ambitions to be your inspiration and become someone. Break the chain of failure and be added to this years passing class percentage. Look at those who have gone before you and let their results be your fuel ey.
You are in school for many reasons but remember it is for yourself first and ey this does not mean the end of your social life, just set yourself straight divide the time and all will be okay.
