Namibia! Are we still eligible to be called a nation???

The last child of mother Africa, to break free from the chains of colonial oppression.  The young nation that has been enjoying the fruits of its autonomy for the shortest period of time among its counterparts.
It has long undergone a bloodstained endeavour which has taken with it the lives of audacious men and women that were in long toil to break free its affinity from the arrogant imperialist.
A struggle that lasted almost a century if not one, where the oppressor has destroyed our homes, physically mutilated our beloved brothers and sisters. gruesomely executed  our mothers and fathers...
Oh why? Oh why?
All for this land, this land we call namibia.
Even long after the colonisers have gone and our people have been liberated.
Our nation is still overshadowed by the death of women and children at the hands of none other than their husbands, their fathers.
The ones that turn their backs on the nature of what they should be.
Protectors, heads of houses, breadwinners.
Due to the social evils of alcohol, fornication and drug abuse, they become quite the contrary of what nature has prescribe for them.
Our nation!.. a nation that has been engulfed by a youth that openly exploits the consumption of a death sentencing substance.... Alcohol.

A youth that knows only the facade of a church but wither at request of internal description of this holy temple.
A youth conquered  by sexual immorality at such a rate that no school lacks a pregnant girl or a young father.
oh why oh why???
This land!... It boasts chauvinistic politicians  that broadcast rhetoric speeches in order to canvass which enables them the capability  of embezzling the resources within their reach.
They do not do it for patriotism nor to catalyze the development of the our nation. No!. Even our businessmen and women have turned to unethical zombies, who welcome any type of money making opportunity or scheme.
Regardless of its nature, even if it takes food out of the poor mans mouth or kicks a family out of their home, into the freezing cold.
The rich become richer, the poor get poorer.
A contradicting statement for this nation.
A nation that holds  humongous mineral deposits af diamond, fas a huge biological biodiversity and  breathtaking landscape.
It has the potential to thrive,,to be the nation that was once handicapped and transcend to one where rape shall be no more talked about of.
Where murder will have no space for headlines in our daily newspapers BUT until we can overcome and conquer all our social evils .
This land shall not rise from its ashes to burn like the blazing inferno of a resurrected  phoenix.
